This is done by creating micro-puncture wounds in the skin using a roller with hundreds of tiny needles. This treatment can be done in the rooms and when performed by Dr Patel is done using a deeper depth needle for maximal efficacy. This however requires sedation with local anaesthesia. Microneedling can also be performed at home with various home kits. More than a single treatment may be required depending on the indications.
